It is a document by which you acquire long-term resident status.

Permission grounds:

• Family reunification
• The right to the restoration of Lithuanian citizenship or to persons of Lithuanian origin.
• After living in the Republic of Lithuania for at least 50 months in 5 consecutive years and passing the examination of the Constitution of Lithuania and the Lithuanian language
• After obtaining refugee status

The permit is issued for 5 years, after which it has to be renewed.

A fee of EUR 180 must be paid to the state for the issue, and EUR 320 for urgent proceedings.
